Welcome to Baby Blog Week!
Oiy! Hello there friends!! Jumping back into consistent blogging has not been easy. I have a list of beautiful newborns I had the honor of meeting October - January. So I figured what could be a better way to blog my little heart out than a special week dedicated to these little ones! Without further ado..Â
Okay I think I can safely stop complaining about Siri at this point. We were able to use Siri to get to the home we needed to be at. This family was so incredibly sweet. It was a humbling and exciting experience to work with them! As you can see below in the images this little babe is a Dallas Cowboys fan! Just kidding! Her Dad totally is. But we have a feeling she will inherit this love for the Dallas Cowboys and become a number one fan someday! One of my fondest memories was sitting on the couch watching all the football game my grandfather flipped back and forth through watching the highlights and scoreboards. I wasn't into sports much, but football I understood. Being a cheerleader in high school, I had to learn what was going on in order to chant the right cheers!Â
We started out this sweet session with documentary style images right inside sweet Emme's room. I took the lead as family portraits are my thang. We just adored these two and their love for their bundle of joy. Then out to the Pop-up studio we went for swaddles and unique compositions. I held and positioned Emme under Heathers instruction as she captured these sweet images. I assure you that babies dont just naturally look amazing on top of a football prop. It took patience and care. We very carefully and comfortably worked with sweet Emme for those two shots merged into one. It appears that she is sweetly sleeping on the unique football. But in reality a hand was on her the entire time. This is something we are fond about with taking photos of newborns. Putting the babies comfort and safety first. (Always!) Then working hard in post-production to bring together an amazing images to cherish for years! I can not wait to work with this very sweet family again!
