When we first met Nichole and Jacob. We opted for a beer instead of coffee and had an interesting meeting over appetizers. Jacob was in his uniform but on call specially making the time in his busy schedule to appease his fiance. When I think about it. I didn't spend much time talking to my own wedding photographer but I sort of wish I did. Nichole already knew she wanted to book with us. We have done several weddings for her friends and acquaintances, so she knew in her heart she fully trusted us to uphold her wedding experience on our end. There were so many parts of her wedding day I loved capturing. Her big smiles while getting ready. The excitement buzzing around her getting ready room. Her dad seemingly appearing and disappearing in the hallway to grab some last minute details.. then nervously waiting to see her all dressed up in white. Nicholes smile once her mothers wedding dress belt was secured in her hair. The way Nichole excitedly showed us her dress had pockets!! The way their family and friends were super excited for their big day. Jacob's attention to Nichole and his 'Whatever you need, I'll make it happen' attitude for her. The adoration we has for Nichole is beautiful to watch. They wrote their own vows to each other. Nichole couldn't help but smile and nod when Jacobs vows started matching up to what she predicted he would say.. but then he took a left turn and dove straight into heartfelt prose that had friends and family wiping their tears. Even I had to blink away some sneaky tears. I am honored to have captured their special day.Â
