We enjoyed the last of the leaves changing colors in that first week of November. How beautiful they changed and how fast they fell. Older folks predicted a quick color change with the strange weather. They were right! If we are going by the Persimmon Seed weather theory, we will be shoveling a lot of snow this year! All SPOONS!
Spoon-Shaped, lots of heavy, wet snow will fall. Shovel!
Fork-Shaped, expect powdery, light snow and a mild winter.
Knife-Shaped, expect to be "cut" by icy, cutting winds.
Enough about the weather! How about this SWEET little family? Though we planned for a Mini-Session. I enjoyed my time with these four so much that we hung out for an hour! How could I not? Shirley's kiddos were really into having their pictures taken! It took no time at all for them to warm up to me. Starting with me directing them into some cutesy poses. Then they really got into it! Pretty soon they were posing themselves and having a fun time doing so! Their interest in photography came out with lots of questions about my business and camera. It was so sweet that they were genuinely intrigued how people can make a living off of capturing memories. A journey I haven't quite experienced, as my full time job is a graphic designer for Lucas Oil, but knowing my own talent and trade can support me financially is an exciting feeling! Oh, and little Benny. Gosh the smiles he had for me! It was like he knew these pictures would make his mama so happy!Â
By the way.. we discovered that cracked pumpkins float in water. Don't ask. Lol
