Welcome to Baby Blog Week!
Oiy! Hello there friends!! Jumping back into consistent blogging has not been easy. I have a list of beautiful newborns I had the honor of meeting October - January. So I figured what could be a better way to blog my little heart out than a special week dedicated to these little ones! Without further ado..Â
I can't image the anxiety and worry of a parent when their baby decides to be born into the world early. This sweet little glow worm about walked out as soon as they arrived at the hospital. Then spend a couple weeks receiving the necessary medical treatment needed. When he was home and ready for his close up. My body decided to become very ill and I've not only got common sense, but I have also been certified to know better than to spread my sickness to a defenseless newborn and family. So we pushed the session out. Still so tiny at one month we arrived to take Ian's newborn images. In and out of sleep for us we were so excited to have a little boy grace our newborn studio!
You wanna know something really funny about this session? At one point a rainbow stream of pee flew towards the camera. As I was consecrating on positioning Ians head, I wasn't quite aware what was going on at first. Heather made a quick dodge to the side protecting the camera. For some reason the 'water' that hit me.. I thought was spit? Drool? Like Heathers spit? Lol!! Then I realized Ian was peeing! I quickly grabbed a little cloth and we began pee clean up. You know I dont mention much when babies pee or poop on us because it happens! All the time! And it's nothing for moms to feel bad about. I just thought this was really funny because it took me a minute to process what was happening. Nothing can prepare you for random naked baby waste!
After a little rocking, another bottle and some white noise. We were able to get Ian a bit more sleepy for the cutest little crochet outfit Heather found specifically for a boy newborn session. She has amazing taste for newborn outfits and details! The deer head one was mamas request. It was interesting figuring out safe ways to incorporate a deer prop into newborn images. Taking care to cover antler tips white positioning and even holding baby from underneath the blanket! This little pumpkin king and the Crecelius family were exciting to work with!
