It started with an idea and developed into several ideas then narrowed down to one. Such an adorable way to announce the joy that's on the way.Â
My goal was to get in and out before the boys knew what happened! Mainly because the attention span of a three year old.. well we will just say they don't really have one. My friend Heather had her sign made and they were getting ready as I stopped by my sisters house. Then picked up one of my nephews that loves to pitch in anytime I show up to his house with my camera and a fun idea. He put his shoes on and hopped in my car quickly without knowing what his mission was.
Upon pulling up to my friends Heather's house IÂ explained to my nephew that in anyway if he can help me keep her son Liam from running too far off the porch, and even help me make him laugh. Then his job would be fulfilled! We walked to the front porch where IÂ envisioned the images taking place and my nephew Isaiah let me take pictures of him in different spots on the porch. I'd show him the back of the camera and he would tell me how much he likes the bokeh blur in the background.Â
Once we were set. I explained to Heather and Daniel where to stand and what to do with their bodies. Then I set her sign up and this was Liam's moment to shine. I think having my nephew with me made him a bit more curious and cautious than usual. Surprisingly in the first photos, he sat curiously with his hands folded in his lap. Lucky us! Then after the sign flip, Isaiah and I made silly noises and faces at Liam. I kept snapping images catching every face I could. A quick review of the images and we were out in less than 10 minutes!Â
A quick cull and edit at home. Then I sent Heather a couple options I loved and she was free to share them when she was ready! I've never had a session so fast that would speak so much for what's to come! Or.. Who. IÂ ended up paying my nephew in Sausage McMuffins and Liam in Strawberries.
