With an eleven o'clock start, there was a hustle about the house. Hannah's beautiful wedding gown, gracefully set on a red bust. The bridesmaids dresses hung in a row next to the kitchen table, which was full of details collected to be photographed. My second photographer and I hit the ground running. A Bouquet of Flowers, a bottle of Pink Ice Perfume, an Engagement Watch, White Flats. Strategically setting up for detail shots, Hannah excitedly came to us holding quite the surprise. A cake topper of two little mice that she made herself! They were absolutely perfect. She smiled that big Hannah smile and told us a little back story of Anthony's nickname, which is Mighty Mouse. How adorable. This is why I love weddings! Giving a nod to everything special and unique to the couple.
Anthony stood blindfolded, and nervous as we waited for their first look. I find it incredibly sweet when couples create a new tradition, and spend their wedding day together! When I think back to my wedding day, though my day was perfect, I probably spent less than 5 hours with my husband! Hannah stealthily walked into the clearing. She had the biggest smile. Gracefully she stood at his side and bumped him playfully. She then removed his blindfold and enjoyed their beautiful and joyful moment together before we jumped into the time-line for portraits.
Their wedding was absolutely beautiful taking place at a Bible Holiness Church, English Indiana. The pictures I took of their engagement, lined the pews in delicate frames held with ribbons and bows. There was such a happiness that radiated from their families, it was an honor to be there and capture it all!
Favorite Moment: Hannah and Anthony, eyes squinted, walking through showers of Lavender! Smelled amazing!!
