Listening to the story of how they got together will put a smile on your face. At the alter Brittany pulled a folded up piece of paper and joked about her problem with procrastination and that's how her sweet words ended up being on a paper and not in the vow book she specially bought for her vows. She admitted that she never really believed in love at first sight, or maybe in true love at all until he popped into her life and refused to leave. Dustin knew her bother. And at some point matter of factly that he was going to be Brittany's husband one day. Depsite Brittany feeling like he was crazy. He came into her life completely unexpected and caught her off guard. The very first time she really met him was almost like the beginning of a hallmark movie. Brittany's car was broken down. Her best friend/maid of honor drove her over to her brothers house because he lived close by. It was pouring rain and she was soaking wet from trouble shooting her own car problems. She walked into her brothers house and there Dustin was hanging out. She told her little brother John what was going on with his car and without hesitation Dustin offered to go check out her car for her. She thought to herself, NO WAY I am letting some young punk work on my vehicle. And kindly declined. But had she known then what she knows today. She would have thought differently. Since then they had grown together in so many ways.Â
Dustin describes Brittany as an astonishing women. Who is strong, beautiful and unique in every positive way there is. Who is his rock that lift him up every day. She's the best mom. And if makes him feel even more in love with her every day. He views their bond as a team who doesn't let the other fall behind. He vowed to go nowhere but up from this day forward.
One of the reasons I love photographing weddings is just hearing bonds like this! Love like theirs I just find so adorably fascinating to capture. Not only did I enjoy capturing their wedding. I enjoyed seeing two couples at their wedding whom IÂ as also a wedding photographer for who highly recommended me for the job because they know the time and care I put into the wedding experience through my eyes. And I appreciate that more than you could possibly imagine.Â
