Gosh it feels like forever ago that a message popped up in my inbox inquiring about fall photos. I happily got Olivia set up and her date secured in my calendar... and I have been just waiting with excitement to get these two in-front of my camera ever since!Â
When they arrived IÂ was pretty dang excited about their fall coordinated outfits. The fun started there! We walked the beautiful location of Mt St Francis finding perfect spots to unleash my creativity on. Olivia doesn't take a bad photo.. seriously I felt like she came straight from a modeling agency. Her 100-watt smile is so contagious, I couldn't help but smile when she smiled!
Can I just give my applause to Casey and all the family men that do not care for their picture being taken. But, they do it because they understand it's important to their significant other. IÂ mean lets face it. Men aren't exactly ecstatic to take photos for an hour. Women predominately contact me. Photography is a core part of saving memories, for me and other women a like. I really feel like after everything is said and done, it's not so bad for the guys!
I think they are intimidated because they don't know what to do or they are afraid they won't be good at it. But guess what? I take all that guess work out of it for everything. I pose my clients with intent from head to toe. YES! Even details as to where you put your hands you become suddenly VERY aware of. Casey was such a good sport! Â
On the beautiful bridge it was like a minefield battle zone out there with acorns falling all around. Maybe even tree branches, because some noises just sounded like a tree was going to come down on us! Maybe I am exaggerating because I'm from the place of palm trees and beaches. I am very happy we didn't get nailed in the head (or camera) by falling acorns! And I am so very grateful I got to work with these two!
