Welcome to Baby Blog Week!
Oiy! Hello there friends!! Jumping back into consistent blogging has not been easy. I have a list of beautiful newborns I had the honor of meeting October - January. So I figured what could be a better way to blog my little heart out than a special week dedicated to these little ones! Without further ado..Â
This sweet little one was quite the surprise to mom and dad. I wont get into the unimaginable grief of loss or pain. But I will tell you, after weathering the storms this family was blessed with pink little rainbow by the name of Amelia. Or Millie for short. Or Mildred if she's ticked off. Ahaha. But we call her Millie. And she is the most photogenic 4 month old if I've ever seen one!Â
I spent the highs and lows cheering on my best friend through her pregnancy, sickness and stress. You never know how badly it could stress a pregnant woman out then to figure out another woman, with the same doctor, was told she was having a girl then found out very close to birth that she was actually having a boy! Day's of what ifs and uncertainty after that! It was my bestie duty to assure her that she is having a girl and to just breathe!Â
Did I tell you that Millie is a huge Taylor Swift fan? We get to tell Millie one day that she went to not one but TWO Taylor Swift Stadium Tour Concerts while she was growing in her mommies belly. (Okay Okay, I am the huge Taylor Swift fan and I talked Mrs. Wilkerson into TWO concerts!) One of which we headed up to Indianapolis for maternity pictures followed by our second Taylor Swift Concert!
I arrived to the Wilkerson home. Heather, knowing how we needed a sleepy baby, prepped Millie for her close up. I arrived to set up our pop-up studio. And we began doing our thing. Little did we know at this point that several other of newborns were about to be born around the same time in December! They are just on their own time! We headed to the bedroom for some adorable shots with Millie's older brother. Then transitioned into all her adorable little outfits! We kept shooting until Millie was over it. I am so happy we got this little Halloween miracle behind the camera and get to follow all the milestones in her life!Â
