Let me start by just saying at the beginning of this year the Bailey's believed in me before the ink was dry on my shiny new business. I can not thank Heather enough! I this is probably where I should say I felt the pressure and was afraid I wouldn't be able to meet expectations but that just never came. Honestly, I always feel cool as a cucumber because photography is my element. Then I send off that album and wait for a reply. They call it "photographers anxiety." And boy does it hit me hard every now and again but 100% of the time I am getting a reply with very happy clients.
These happy clients took the chance on hiring me to create amazing maternity images. We hung out for the day to bring to life all of the images she was hoping for. I am please to say not only did I serve them well, but even my own eyes can't believe that I took those photos and edited them to perfection. Total credit to her for the locations and lots of the pinterest-maternity-posing ideas. This really helped me peer into the mind of an expecting woman. I got to know what she was looking for and found how to best meet her expectations. The best part, I captured the beauty and excitement of the new parents to be. And just like that, I am loving being apart of their milestones in life!
I was so excited when Heather booked a Fall Family Session with me! When I am working with the Bailey's, it doesn't feel like work at all! We met at Mt St Francis and I took them over to the gorgeous barn for a couple posed and candid family photos then made our way down to the water. No arsenal of idea's and pinterest-poses this time. The Bailey's threw their full trust and faith in me and I did not let them down. I have been up to Mt St Francis quite a bit lately. Can you blame us? It is so incredibly gorgeous and peaceful there. I could totally go there just to drink a coffee and read a good book or just meditate of positive and peaceful thoughts any day of the week!Â
I captured the beauty and joy of this sweet little family. Miles, at just 4 months, was all smiles and giggles for his mommy and daddy. Some of my favorite images are the ones where there is so much feeling I can barely begin to express what I was seeing. Miles laid his head down on Heather and sweetly breathed her in with what appears to be a long cuddle. While Heather smiled with her eyes closed and drew in every second of it. A moment that flickered by in the matter of a couple frames. But was frozen in my camera to be cherished forever, along with so many more beautiful moments.Â
