I just adored this session. Not only because Candace Dean makes the cutest kids ever. But because I've got to watch these kiddos grow from a distance. They used to live right above my sister and played with my nephews all the time. They moved to another state not to long ago and it was a joy to see them again. I was fortunate enough to capture their sweet family about a year ago. And I was honored that she sent me a message requesting a session when she comes in to visit! When the little tribe rolled out of her car in their adorable coordinated outfits I was SO excited to get started. Candace brought along her spunky grandmother Kay, which I encouraged! While taking pictures I don't think Kay knew how involved she was going to be. But when I heard her say that she just wants to give her great-grand-children something to remember her by. I thought of my great-grandfather and how every picture I have of him and I are so precious to me. I am honored I get to be apart of images they will keep forever. Embarrassing to admit, even though I know their names from year's of knowing them, at the session I got tongue tied calling their names mixing them up! Fortunately at the end of the day we could all laugh it off and I could provide this sweet family with legacy images to cherish for years!Â
XOXO
Favorite moment: When the kiddos mimicked me acting like a frog and hopping around!
